Melissa Vangeen

Melissa Vangeen is a highly experienced UK immigration law solicitor advising both individuals and businesses on all aspects of UK immigration law. She has held prominent positions at leading London firms including Head of Immigration at Watson Farley & Williams, and Partner and Head of Immigration at Solomon Taylor & Shaw.

She has over 25 years of experience advising on virtually all aspects of UK immigration law for both individuals and businesses, including corporate immigration, family migration, settlement and citizenship matters, and complex personal immigration applications, with the exception of asylum and protection claims.

Melissa is extremely well regarded within the industry, having co-authored the immigration chapter of the UK Trade & Investment “Investors’ Guide to the UK” and winning numerous awards for her work in the field of UK immigration.

When she finds spare time away from work and looking after her three daughters, Melissa enjoys going to the theatre and has a passion for genealogy.

Melissa is dual citizen of the United Kingdom and the United States of America.  She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (“ILPA”
